Background

The bursary is funded by the Bendigo Campus and is designed to recognise students who have exhibited academic merit as well as an involvement or association with the Bendigo Academy of Sport.

Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Be enrolled full time at the Bendigo Campus in an undergraduate degree

Be able to demonstrate involvement or association with the Bendigo Academy of Sport (to be verified by a representative of the Bendigo Academy of Sport)

be able to demonstrate academic merit

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

Information provided in their application form.

Preference for one bursary will be a full-time student from Regional Victoria who has successfully completed the Victorian Certificate of Education, or equivalent, within the last 12 months.

Preference of the remaining bursary will be for a full-time student who has successfully completed at least the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the Bendigo Campus and is continuing studies at the Bendigo Campus.

Recipient obligations

The successful recipients will be expected to attend the annual Bendigo Prize Ceremony in August, assist in the promotion of the award to other students and engage in activities that are within the spirit of the award.
