Most courses at La Trobe have standard opening and closing date. Some courses close early due to an early course start date or if there are limited places available. Please check course information for course start dates to confirm if they close early.
Please check all information to ensure you know when applications close for your desired course.

For courses with non-standard closing dates, applications close 2 weeks before the course commencement date (unless listed otherwise below). Please check La Trobe find a course page to check whether your course has a non-standard commencement date (ie not Semester or Term start dates).

- Applicants will be ranked and selected based on published entry requirements and their entire academic record.
- Incomplete applications will not be ranked.
- Meeting the minimum entry requirements and course specific prerequisites does not guarantee selection.

You can apply at any time of the year if you are not applying for a scholarship, but we will need enough time to process your application and before your planned start date. International applicants will need to take visa processing times into consideration also.

- Applications which remain incomplete by the closing date will not be considered.
- Particular courses may close earlier than initially advertised if all of the available places are filled.
