In this subject you will develop professional practice as an exercise physiologist by using research to inform clinical reasoning. This subject aims to develop your research skills and apply discipline-specific knowledge and techniques to address an exercise physiology-related question. Individually, or as part of a small group, you will work on a research project that will include: planning, project management, data collection, data analysis, critical interpretation/evaluation and dissemination of findings. These are essential skills to support evidence-based clinical exercise therapy. You will be expected to meet with your project supervisor on a regular basis and work independently in self-directed learning.
