The industry project enables students to experience real-life involvement in the planning and development of a medium sized project relevant to their degree that addresses a real-life or community problem. The project utilises a teamwork approach to problem-solving in cloud technology. Students integrate previously learned skills and knowledge relating to technical, social and ethical issues. The subject covers project management, team organisation and communication, project estimation and planning, risk management, documentation and reporting and milestone presentation. Students continue with this project in Industry Project Cloud 3B.

Special conditionsThis subject of study represents the third term of a year-long program. Students MUST complete both CSE3CAX and CSE3CBX in two consecutive study blocks. All students must complete a 'Team Formation' form and submit this to the subject co-ordinator a week before the semester/term. Deadline for enrolment in this subject is seven days prior to commencement of term. When enrolling in CSE3CAX, student must also enrol in CSE3CBX.
