In this subject you will have the opportunity to extend your knowledge and skills to complex and dynamic patient situations. Through lectures, onlineactivities, workshops, clinical skills laboratories/simulations, and clinical placement, you will focus onassessment and interventions aimed at arresting deterioration of a patient's health.The clinical practicum will allow you to experience high acuity care settings and assume the responsibility of caring for individuals who may experience a deterioration in health. To achieve the learning outcomes of this subject you will be expected to complete a range of written, verbal and clinical assessments within a 12-week period.
