EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROJECT
BUS3ELP
2019
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
La Trobe Business School offers students a number of work integrated learning (WIL) opportunities each year to take as a full credit subject. In this subject you will build upon your learning from earlier studies by participating in a work integrated learning project within an approved host organisation. In particular, the subject provides an opportunity to focus on the application of theoretical concepts to address workplace problems or development issues using problem-based enquiry and learning. As a student participating in the subject you will identify your own work placement and will negotiate a work-based project with your host employer and instance coordinator prior to commencement. The themes of projects, enquiries and/or other work-based activities are individually tailored to your professional development needs and employer requirements.
