Subject outline
In this subject students are given the opportunity to develop advanced neuro-musculoskeletal examination and management skills within a clinical reasoning paradigm. Supervised clinical practice encourages and facilitates rational decision making with respect to treatment selection, treatment progression and planning ongoing management programs. Students are also given the opportunity to integrate advanced manipulative physiotherapy manual techniques and exercise prescription into their clinical practice. Students will complete160 hours of supervised clinical practice within the Australian healthcare environment, which will be accumulated over the year at hospital outpatient departments and/or private physiotherapy clinics.

One 160.0 hours placement - off site per study period on weekdays during the day from week 10 to week 43 and delivered via face-to-face.
