The subject taught is based on the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy model (CBT). CBT is a relatively short term intervention aimed at solving current problems through the evaluations of unhelpful thinking and behaviours. CBT has been shown to have considerable empirical effectiveness for a range of disorders.
