Subject outline
In this subject you will learn about the ways in which we assess, manage and communicate risks to human health from a broad range of environmental hazards in natural, urban, workplace and other environments. Through readings and presentations, field trips and assignment work you will learn about essential environmental health concepts and tools and how these are applied to managing human health threats in the built environment, air, water, food, soil and climate. Your learning will be assessed through a journal and written works.
