Subject outline
Building on their theoretical and practical understanding of audio-visual production practices, students work individually and collaboratively to devise a web series. Students learn to engage with an on-line environment to analyse and ultimately contribute to the web as audio-visual content providers. Students will devise and produce audio-visual content for possible continuous short form production. The aim of this subject is to produce creative, industry ready audio-visual content producers, who have practical experience dealing with ethical issues, copyright, identifying & writing for target audiences and working to client expectations and briefs. - The web series that they participate in creating has the potential to be streamed on a web platform outside of the university context. Students are required to research, produce and discuss the themes expressed within the charter aligned to this web channel.
