In this subject you will critically analyse theoretical leadership models, approaches and competencies to apply this knowledge to assess what is effective organisational leadership. The subject investigates responsible leadership, sustainable innovation and leading effective andethical change. Working individually, and with other students, you will analyse leaders in contemporary practice, within the context of dynamic,challenging and often ambiguous organisational circumstances. In addition, you will reflect on your own practice as a responsible leader,assessing your strengths and areas in which you can be even more effective.

Activities will include provide of key concepts, readings, online media and engagement in exercises and discussion to assist you to identify key elements of responsible leadership, as distinguished from other forms of leadership management practice. Assessment provides an opportunity for you to critically evaluate key leadership theories and competencies.
