We also consider the processes of strategic planning and plan making, development and environmental assessments and appeals and review of decision-making in a range of different practical, cultural and geographical contexts. This gives rise to a range of issues such as democratic and community participation, climate change, sustainable development, land use conflict and environmental justiceThis subject, presented online only, will use a variety of presentation media to identify and analyse the key issues arising in the application of planning laws. It will utilise interactive techniques and will involve online presentations from experts in the field.
