Subject outline
This subject is available to students who have already attained working competence in spoken and written Italian. Students are able to extend their understanding of the structures and usage of the language, as well as their understanding of Italian culture and society. Particular attention is devoted to La Trobe's "Sustainability Thinking" Essential, through the study of Italian written and audiovisual texts that explore this theme as it relates to environment, society, politics and culture in contemporary Italy. In this subject students continue working towards attaining level B2 competence in The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
