Subject outline
In this subject advanced functional and applied human anatomy will be learned and based on principles and content introduced in HBS2HAA, HBS2HAB and HBS3HAC. A research enquiry involving cadaveric dissection will constitute fifty percent of this subject. Emphasis will be placed on the application of anatomical principles, to correlate structure with function, in developing an understanding of the basis of everyday activities and related clinical scenarios.< p>

- Students will attend practicals and work independently or in groups to identify relevant structures. Resources include anatomical models, plastinated sections, skeletons, medical images and cadaveric specimens. Assessment will be via practical tests and ongoing assessment during dissection task.
