This unit of study describes the application of an in-depth level of knowledge of anatomy and physiology to analyse available health information in relation to specific services to be provided. Students will further utilise medical terminology when describing body structures and functions and identify some of the medications commonly used to treat variations in health. Taught in conjunction with other vocational nursing competencies.
