In this subject students develop their understanding of constructions of masculinity and femininity and educational strategies aimed at addressing the interests of girls/women and boys/men through analysing, and evaluating critical gender theories, and the effects of gender on learning outcomes, schooling choices, curriculum, participation and equality in local, national and international educational contexts.
