PHOTOJOURNALISM 2
VPA1PJ2
2015
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
Photojournalism 2 builds on the student's capacity to build visual narratives, moving away from the #found# photograph to create the #constructed# photograph. The conceptual and aesthetic aspects of the genre are extended by assignments that reflect these #constructed# concerns and enhance the student#s ability to work to a specific client brief. Studio Lighting is introduced and explored. The student continues to build to understanding in the multi-layered complexity of a successful photographic image, both in #reading# that image and in the creation of it.
