Subject outline
In this subject students are required to spend an average of one day per week in a supervised placement spanning a minimum of 13 weeks per semester. The setting must have mainstream face-to-face counselling as one of its functions and the student must be in a position of seeing at least three face-to-face clients per week (minimum of 39 client hours per semester). Formal on-site supervision is required as well as participation in four University-based Group Supervision / Reflective Practice Sessions.
