Subject outline

In this subject you will explore the advanced clinical management of critically ill or injured patients in complex situations. You will be introduced to paramedic advanced life support (ALS) and intensive care (ICP) practices, and gain insight into the process of working with ALS and ICP paramedics and allied emergency and healthcare professionals. You will engage in complex simulated learning environments (SLE) and case reviews, thereby further developing your advanced problem solving and decision-making skills.
