Students enrolled in this unit are involved in a Cross Cultural Exchange Program. The program enables La Trobe students to spend a period of time undertaking theoretical and practical nursing experience overseas. Students act as ambassadors for La Trobe University both while overseas and with colleagues from International Universities.

05. Compare the service delivery model with the Australian service delivery model in your field of practice taking into account cultural differences

- # Explore the model through your own practice, engagement with colleagues and research of that Government's/Institution's Charter for service delivery where possible # Identify the professional constraints and benefits of this service delivery model compared with the Australian model # Examine the broader health care system in this environment and the impact of cultural practices on the model of health care and professional practice # Identify the facilitators and barriers that impact on the health care of individuals and communities in this particular context
