Subject outline
In this subject students build on writing and reading skills acquired in French 3. Students successfully completing the subject should be able to write accurately in French, using the range of grammatical structures studied and in a range of genres from short descriptive texts to lettres and poes; read a variety of French texts from poems to newspaper items and short articles; and appreciate aspects of French-speaking cultures. The subject should also enable them to obtain an A2 level in the Common European Framework.
