Enrolling

After you've been accepted into La Trobe, you must complete all enrolment steps by the deadlines, or you may be charged a late enrolment fee. You must ensure your enrolment is correct and arrange to have it updated if there are any errors.

Paying your fees

You must pay the fees associated with studying at Uni. This includes course-related fees and the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). International students - Your SSAF is included in your tuition fee.

Using IT appropriately

You must appropriately use the computer facilities that La Trobe provides. Read our Use of Computer Facilities Statute [PDF File 51KB]. Learn more about what you can and can't do on social media.

La Trobe may monitor computer files, computer use, internet use and email accounts to ensure compliance with the statute and relevant laws.

If you misuse IT equipment or social media, your account may be suspended and you may be reported to a General Misconduct Officer. If you break any law, you may be reported to the relevant authorities and may be prosecuted.

Maintaining personal records

You must ensure that your details in StudentOnLine are up to date, so that we can contact you.

Accessing your student email

You must regularly, ideally daily, check your student email for information we've sent you. This is the primary means through which we'll contact you.

International students

If you're an international student, you have some additional administrative responsibilities.
