Managing your research progress
Managing your Progress
Completing a research degree is a significant undertaking that will take several years of your life. It’s important to monitor your progress and make sure you are on track for success.
Our progress management framework provides you with the right tools to track your research progress and help you achieve research excellence. By managing your progress effectively you will:
- receive feedback from your progress committee to confirm when your research is on the right track
- receive feedback to further improve the quality of your research
- get the most out of your graduate research experience
- discuss and detail appropriate support early-on if you are experiencing difficulties.
In this section of the website, you will find all the information you need to be across your own progress management. It includes sections on milestones, your progress committee, how to access forms in the agreements system to track your research progress, and where to go for help.
Progress workshops
In August 2018, the Graduate Research School conducted workshops on the new progress framework across different campuses and schools. Download the workshop slides here.
