Student placement policy
We offer placements for undergraduate students from a range of backgrounds.
Eligibility criteria
All placements will depend on the workload of suitable staff to supervise the student.

Priority is given to La Trobe University students on Work Integrated Learning placements

A minimum of 6 weeks’ notice is required

Students must demonstrate a prior interest in the autism field

Students must hold a valid Volunteer Working with Children Check

OTARC accepts a maximum of two students per calendar year
Please note: We do not offer work placements for secondary school students.

During placement Josh helped us with a peer-reviewed journal paper about what predicts of quality of life in autistic people. As an author, Josh offered useful points of view to the team.
