“I welcome today’s Federal Government announcement that Griffith University will be able to operate a fully-fledged Medical School at Sunshine Coast University Hospital in Queensland for 50 local students per year," says La Trobe University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Dewar.
“This follows on from the welcome opening of the Curtin Medical School in Western Australia earlier this year.
“We look forward to a Government decision on a new Murray Darling Medical School for the benefit of everyone in regional New South Wales and regional Victoria later in the year.”
