La Trobe University and Hanoi University celebrated this year’s graduates at a ceremony in Vietnam on 22 March 2024.
One hundred and twenty-six graduates attended the ceremony to celebrate completing their Diploma in Business or Bachelor of Business (Finance and Marketing). Another 72 students graduated in absentia.
La Trobe University and Hanoi University have enjoyed a long-standing partnership – this year, we celebrate 21 years offering our courses to Vietnamese students.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Nguyen Van Trao (President, Hanoi University), Ms Jen Bahen (Counsellor [Education and Research], Australian Embassy Vietnam), Professor Amalia Di Iorio, (Pro Vice-Chancellor, Educational Partnerships, La Trobe University), students and their families.
"At La Trobe, we value tremendously our ongoing partnership with Hanoi University, one of the premier educational institutions in Vietnam," Professor Di Iorio said.
"This collaboration has produced many alumni who now hold senior positions within the Government of Vietnam and the corporate sector."
