Meet La Trobe’s newly formed Engineering Society!
President and Master of Construction and Engineering Management student, Jorge Bravo, said the society was formed to provide connection and support to future engineers.
“We are a passionate group of students who are dedicated to advancing the field of engineering through collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing,” he said.
Jorge is joined by a team that includes Dhuruva Parasuraman (Vice-President), Prasanthi Kondaveeti (Secretary) and Amrit Shahi (Treasurer). Marketing and communications will be co-led by Ankita Khandelwal and Omer Omeroglu, and events will be coordinated by Nazanin Feizollah and Mehmed Cingoz.
Jorge says the members of the executive team showcase the talent and dedication of La Trobe engineering students.
“As a team, we are excited to help shape the future of engineering education. We are looking forward to hosting networking events, fostering professional development opportunities and connecting with Engineering students across the University,” he said.
“We hope to share the latest trends and technologies in the industry as well as best practice from members and industry experts.”
