The La Trobe University Sandhurst Collection Research Grant Fund presents a unique opportunity for researchers interested in delving into the historical treasures housed in the Heyward Library of La Trobe University Bendigo.
The Sandhurst Collection is a valuable part of Bendigo’s educational history that we are preserving and sharing with the world. It includes rare and fragile books and other items of cultural significance for the Bendigo community dating back to the 1850s.
With a total of $20,000 being offered through the Bendigo Tertiary Education Anniversary Foundation, this grant aims to support projects that not only contribute to historical literature but also highlight the Sandhurst Collection's significance for the local Bendigo community and the global research community.
