Team La Trobe Walk & Run returns for 2022

La Trobe Sport is pleased to announce that the Team La Trobe Walk & Run event is returning bigger and better than ever in 2022!

After running two previous events virtually during lockdown periods in 2020 and 2021, we are excited to finally run a FREE in-person event on Wednesday 21 September.

The Team La Trobe Walk & Run will have two events running simultaneously at both the Melbourne and Bendigo Campuses, but will also be available for participants from other La Trobe campuses via the virtual walk or run on the online event hub.

Participants at both events will have the option of taking part in the 2km Walk or the 4km run around La Trobe’s picturesque campus surrounds.

The 2022 Team La Trobe Walk & Run will aim to reinvigorate campus life by providing students and staff with a reason to move and connect with a La Trobe Sport-led active recreation event.

To encourage participation, connection and bring a visual presence to campus, the first 100 participants to register will receive a FREE Team La Trobe event pack, which will include event entry at either the Melbourne or Bendigo event, Team La Trobe merchandise, 1 Month membership at the Indoor Sports Centre or Bendigo Sports Centre and access to the virtual event hub. Those who register before Sunday 11 September and go into draw to win a Fitbit watch, while prizes for teams with the most participant points and random spot prizes will also be awarded on the day.

To register you or your team for the Team La Trobe Walk & Run, simply complete the online event registration form via Eventbrite, or come visit the La Trobe Sport stalls at the Feelgood Festival events at the Melbourne (Wednesday 7 September) and Bendigo Campuses (Thursday 8 September).
