NAIDOC Week is a chance for us to celebrate our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Starting on Monday 4 July, we’ve teamed up with the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Education to bring you an art exhibition and competition at Bundoora Library.
All artworks featured in the exhibition have been produced by talented Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander La Trobe students.
The theme of the artwork is: “the library as a place for knowledge and community through sharing, curiosity and discovery from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspective”.
The exhibition will travel around our campus libraries, with a prize of $2000 for the winning artist.
The winner will be announced on Thursday 7 July.
