In September 2020, we’re launching our Alumni Engagement Phone Program. For this program, students from across the La Trobe will be calling to find out more about you and your alumni experience.
The purpose of this program is to:
- Connect with you about your La Trobe experience
- Let you know about La Trobe’s alumni benefits program
- Update your contact information, so you never miss out on our La Trobe alumni news and events
- Offer you opportunities to get involved with La Trobe through your alumni community.
Meet Steph, student caller
For callers like Steph (pictured above), who’s studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary), the program offers a unique and valuable experience to meet members of La Trobe’s alumni community.
‘I’m interested in hearing about other people's experiences to understand what La Trobe was like when they were a student,’ Steph says.
Particularly in these challenging times, Steph feels privileged to be able to connect with alumni and hopes to convey how strongly she feels about the La Trobe community.
‘Being new to La Trobe, I was so warmly welcomed by staff and tutors in all of my courses.’
