To support students to access an industry placement as part of their degree, researchers at La Trobe University are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about student engagement with the world of work for learning. Understanding what students think about the benefits and barriers of completing an industry placement will assist La Trobe to create opportunities and provide support to students completing placements.
Who can participate?
All students currently enrolled in a degree at La Trobe University are invited to participate. We are interested to hear from everyone, regardless of your level of interest in completing an industry placement or your knowledge about our placement options.
What’s involved?
If you choose to participate, you will be asked to answer a series of questions about work-based learning and your interest in completing an industry placement. The anonymous online survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Your decision to participate in the research is voluntary. There are no additional costs associated with participation in this research study, nor will you be paid.
This research has obtained ethics approval from La Trobe University Human Research Ethics Committee.
If you would like more information or are interested in being part of the study, please contact Felicity Blackstock.
