Help support the incredible work of the R U Ok? Foundation by joining the Team La Trobe Walk & Fun Run at the Melbourne (Bundoora) or Bendigo campus for the finale of the Move for Mental Health Challenge.
Participants at both on-campus events can take part in a walk or run with colleagues and classmates around La Trobe’s picturesque campus surrounds.
Our Melbourne (Bundoora) based event (Thursday 5 September) will this year see the launch of a brand-new 5km course, showcasing the stunning La Trobe Sports Park Precinct.
Enjoy the picturesque views of the Home of the Matildas, Nangak Tamboree nature reserve, our beautifully manicured sports fields and the La Trobe Sports Park Stadium, all while being cheered on at our Team La Trobe Cheer Zones!
Our Bendigo Campus event (Tuesday 3 September) will feature a 1.5km loop course, where participants can challenge themselves to see how many laps they can complete within 30 minutes.
At the 30-minute mark, all participants will have the opportunity to finish their final lap before being ushered down our finishers’ chute to the grand finish line. Celebrate your achievements with colleagues and classmates in the lively Team La Trobe Zone, where you’ll be met with cheers, refreshments and a fantastic community vibe.
Whether you choose to walk or run, you’ll have a blast pushing your limits and enjoying the vibrant community atmosphere in this fun and inclusive event proudly supported by Medibank.

The Move for Mental Health Challenge has been running from Monday 5 August and finishes on Wednesday 4 September. The challenge has highlighted a number of active ways to get connected within the La Trobe community and have conversations with people to support them through difficult times in their lives.
Over the course of the five-week challenge, there have been a series of movement challenges designed for all fitness levels to get our Team La Trobe community active and ready to go for the respective Team La Trobe Walk & Run events.
