Join us as we celebrate La Trobe’s Universal Design and Inclusion Action Plan 2023 – 2030 (UDIAP) with an online event on Thursday 7 March.
The UDIAP supports the accessibility objectives in the University’s 2020-2030 Strategic Plan. It aims to ensure that people with a disability are given full and equitable access to education and employment at La Trobe University.
The plan was co-designed through extensive research, dialogue, and collaboration by the Disability Working Group, members of the university community and people with lived experience of disability.
This week’s event is an opportunity to come together to celebrate the hard work that has gone into designing the plan and to discuss the importance of universal design and inclusion at La Trobe. Join us to hear from a panel of speakers including:
- Professor Jessica Vanderlelie, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) and Co-Chair of La Trobe’s Disability Working Group.
- Dr. Patrick Dwyer, Research Fellow, La Trobe’s Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre.
- Beth Radulski, Manager, Neurodiversity Programs and Co-Chair of La Trobe’s Disability Working Group.
- Joseph Fernando, La Trobe Master of Social Work Student and Disability Support Worker.
All students and staff are invited to attend. Please register in advance, and we look forward to celebrating the UDIAP with you.
