International students: prepare for work while making friends

We know international students can face unique challenges navigating the job market. From understanding local job application processes to adapting to different workplace cultures, the road to career success can be complex and intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be!

Career Clubs are tailored to help international students connect, share their experiences and develop their career ready skills in a supportive, community environment.

Career Clubs will help you to:

  • understand local job application processes
  • learn job research strategies
  • build a robust professional network
  • prepare and practice for interviews
  • develop cultural awareness of local business practices

Workshops will be held at each Career Club meeting, giving you a chance to gain practical skills and knowledge about various topics related to launching your career.

Career Club is held every second Thursday in the Melbourne (Bundoora) Library, room 2.18, from 3 pm – 4 pm.
