Where you can get help  

There are so many support services available for you to access at La Trobe, all for free.  

Enrolment and study options 
Sometimes you need some advice on your enrolment, and the study options that are available to you.  Our ASK La Trobe team is the perfect spot to start. They’ll discuss your circumstances and may refer you to your Student Advisor if you needed.  You can also contact your Student Advisor directly.  
Learning and study support 
In addition to providing access to all your print and digital information needs our Library teams are here to help, and offer a range of services including:

Support for graduate research candidates  The Research Education and Development (RED) team provides a range for support for graduate researchers to build their skills. Other support (including with your enrolment, candidature and funding) is provided by the Graduate Research School. The Library provides a wide range of expert help and training in this space. Non-academic support All students can access a range of non-academic support from our Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion team You can view the view details of the wide range of services available on the Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion website. About the Student Support Policy 

The Student Support Policy fulfills the University’s obligations under the revised Higher Education Provider Amendment (Support for Students Policy) Guidelines 2023

The Policy provides an overarching framework for the governance and provision of academic and non-academic support services for students at La Trobe University in order to foster an environment where students are supported to achieve success in their studies. 

This Policy applies to all academic and non-academic support services provided to students (including graduate research candidates) in award and non-award courses at La Trobe.
