It is more important than ever for members of the La Trobe community to do everything possible to take care of their health. That is why La Trobe is partnering with Medibank Private to offer students a free influenza vaccination.
The vaccinations will take place at your Campus during April and May, except the City Campus. If you are a City Campus student, you are welcome to book at the Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus. An additional clinic will be held at the Bendigo campus on Thursday 16 May from 9 am – 4pm.
Getting the flu vaccination will help to reduce the severity and spread of seasonal influenza, which can lower a person’s immunity and make them susceptible to other illnesses.
Register at La Trobe Student Vaccination webpage and book an appointment at your nearest campus. Places are limited, so get in quick!
If you have received a COVID-19 vaccine (or are booked to receive one soon), a 14-day gap is recommended between receiving doses of the COVID vaccine and the influenza vaccine.
If you are considered at high-risk for influenza, we recommended that you speak to your doctor about vaccinations as soon as possible.
