Gaining local experience for international students through Work Integrated Learning & others

Breaking down & getting ready for the March / April graduate recruitment season

As the peak recruitment season for graduate programs kicks off, industry recruiters from EY, Coles, GHD and the Australian Disability Network will share valuable insights and tips on how to successfully navigate this period and breakdown what a graduate program is.             

Standing out at the Big Meet and La Trobe’s Bendigo Employability Expo

Date: Tuesday 18 March, 11am – 12pm

Suitable for: Penultimate & final year students in all disciplines seeking a graduate role or internship

Join us for an insightful webinar featuring a panel of industry representatives from Medibank, William Buck, GHD and the Australian Disability Network, all of whom have participated in the Big Meet or career expos. Job applications (resumes & cover letters) and using AI to your advantage

Cris Stanway, La Trobe’s Career Advisor and industry recruiters will share valuable tips on how you can stand out from the competition when applying for a job, internship or volunteer role. Our industry guests will also highlight the key do’s and don’ts based on applications they come across on a daily basis.             

Interview preparation and using AI to your advantage

Date: Thursday 20 March, 1pm – 2pm

Cris Stanway, La Trobe’s Career Advisor and industry recruiters will provide tips on how you can use Ai to assist with your interview preparation including receiving immediate feedback. Our industry guests will also provide a recruiter’s perspective on the do’s and don’ts in interviews and how the small things really do make a difference.
