Are you at the end of your degree and dreaming of studying abroad with full financial support? The John Monash Scholarships can make it possible! Offering up to $240,000, these scholarships are open to you no matter your age or study area. Here’s what you can get:
- $80,000 for a one-year Master’s degree
- $160,000 for a two-year Master’s degree
- $240,000 for a PhD
The John Monash Scholarships, which have been running for 20 years, are uniquely Australian. They are proudly supported by Australians for Australians.
Study anywhere in the world while receiving significant support to cover your tuition and living expenses. Whether you’re a recent graduate or have been in the workforce, you might be eligible to apply.
To be eligible for a John Monash Scholarship you must:
- be an Australian citizen;
- have completed (or nearly completed) a degree with an Australian university;
- be planning to undertake postgraduate study at an overseas university commencing in the calendar year following the year that you apply; and
- be able to argue the merits of your chosen course, institution, and how you are best positioned to drive progress in your chosen field.
Applicants who are successful in securing a Rhodes, Fulbright or Ramsay scholarship are not eligible to hold a John Monash Scholarship concurrently.
