Mid-year applications for the Destination Australia Scholarship are now open. The scholarship is worth $15,000 ($7,500 per semester after Census date) – so don’t miss out on your chance to receive this significant financial support.
The Destination Australia scheme is supported by the Australian Government and seeks to attract and support students looking to study in regional Australia.
It also aims to assist with skills shortages by prioritising students studying courses aligned with the National Skills Priority List.
To be eligible for this scholarship you need to:
- be a new or current student studying full-time in Semester 2, 2024,
- be studying full-time at a regional campus in a course that is offered in its entirety at that campus (Online and Diploma students are not eligible for this scholarship),
- reside in, or intend to move to, a regional area, classified as RA2 to RA5, by the Australian Standard Geographical Classification Remoteness Area. (Check the 2016 box next the “ASGS Remoteness Areas”).
