Our student representatives offer valuable feedback, perspectives and ideas that can improve teaching and learning, student support services and program design.
As a student representative you will be supported to gain authentic leadership skills, connect with senior members of staff, and learn about what it means to make decisions within a large organisation.
There are ten School-level Student Advisory Groups (SAGs) at La Trobe, one for each school in the University. Each School-level SAG consists of student representatives from various courses and year levels.
As a student representative, you will be required to:
- listen to feedback from your peers and accurately represent them to senior staff
- attend a minimum of 2 advisory group meetings per year
- complete online training modules and attend a live Zoom session
- serve a one-year term
