Writing confidently is a key skill for graduate researchers. This workshop will look at:
- using active and passive voice
- claims and counterclaims
- language for developing nuance
- eliminating redundancy to produce ‘tight’ writing
- resources for effective writing
- developing confidence and key skills in the presentation of effective academic writing.

About the Presenter: Dr Lynda Chapple is part of the Library Researcher Liaison team. She specialises in teaching research writing skills to graduate researchers.
