Reading lists

Most subjects will have required and recommended readings – these are available via the Learning Management System (LMS) or on the course reading list.

To see if there is a reading list for your subject, search using its subject code or name.

Accessing items on a reading list

Subject readings are generally available in electronic format. However, if you cannot access a reading online, you can find it in our Library collections.

Note: Items that are included on subject reading lists may have limited loan periods (e.g. seven days) due to their high demand.

  • Search the Reading Lists for your subject (by code or name) and then select it.
Note: If your search doesn't show any results, the subject may not have a reading list. Check the course in the LMS instead to see if it has any readings listed.

  • An item will show a 'View online' button if a digital copy is accessible. Select 'View online' to view the resource in your browser.
Note: You may need to authenticate with your LTU credentials to access the resource.

An item will show a 'View availability' button if the Library only has physical copies of the resource. In this instance, you will need to locate the item in the Library.
Note: If all copies at your location are currently on loan, you can place a request for the item.
