What does the membership include?
As a La Trobe community member, you’ll receive a free 12-month membership to the Fishburners Founders Hub!
Over $200K in perks including up to $100K in google cloud credits (Australian startups only) and $10K in AWS Cloud Credits, 90% discount in Hubspot and 40% discount on Xero for premium members. You’ll get access to exclusive live events, mentors, office hours, start-up perks and Fishburners online community of over 1000 members and 450 start-ups.

To be eligible for the La Trobe University community on Fishburners Founders Hub, you need to be a start-up founder or a staff member, student or alumni of La Trobe University. We are also opening up this opportunity to any student from La Trobe, all La Trobe alumni and alumni that have completed our La Trobe Accelerator Program (LTAP). La Trobe encourages interest from founders of any type of start-up with a preference for start-ups addressing challenges in broad areas of Health and Wellness, Digital Technologies and Transformation, Food, Agriculture and the Environment.

We will be reviewing expressions of interests to be a part of the Fishburners Founders Hub and will advise if you have been successful or not in gaining access.
You will become a member of a virtual community on the Fishburners Founders Hub. La Trobe want you to get as much out of the platform as possible and contribute to making the Founders Hub a thriving group of supportive entrepreneurs! To do this, it would be of your benefit to contribute to the community– this could be through posting, sharing information, attending events and more. We expect that you are active and engaging with the platform where possible.
Your Fishburners Founders Hub membership is active for 12 months from when you sign up. As we are expecting a high volume of interest, applicants who will be using the La Trobe Fishburners Founders Hub on a regular basis will be prioritized.
If you have applied, successful and after 1 month of not using the platform, you will be given a warning at the 3-week mark and then removed from the platform to enable another candidate the opportunity to be a part of the La Trobe Fishburners Founders Hub.
Yes! We have free reserved memberships just for students who are currently studying at La Trobe University.
