La Trobe Art History Alumni - Book Launch

The La Trobe Art History Alumni Chapter invites you to a special event at the Bundoora Campus on Thursday 13 June at 2pm.

Please join us in the Library, Room 2.18, as we launch Dr Esther Theiler’s book Painters and Sitters in Early Seventeenth Century Rome: Portraits of the Soul.

Dr Adelina Modesti, Honorary Senior Fellow (Art History/Art Curatorship School of Culture and Communication University of Melbourne and Art History Alumni committee member will provide an introduction. Dr Lisa Beaven, Adjunct Senior Research Fellow, La Trobe University, will then launch the book followed by a few words from Esther.

Esther Theiler holds a PhD in Art History and is currently an independent scholar working in the areas of seventeenth century art history, nineteenth to twentieth century art history, portraiture and literature. Esther is also a past Chair of the Art History Alumni Chapter.
