City Campus facilities

We offer a range of facilities and services for students and staff.

Our City Campus was built in line with the latest innovations in educational design and teaching and learning technology. We offer learning spaces for lectures, tutorials and informal meetings, catering to groups ranging from 4 to 70 people.

Our learning learning spaces come fully equipped with:

data projectors
whiteboards
LCD TV screens
WiFi.

A further 180 informal learning seats are configured in booths, desks, chairs and lounges.

Room bookings

Staff meeting room requests can be requested via Book La Trobe. All spaces can be booked, pending approval on use and availability.
Students who wish to book a teaching room should complete the Book a teaching room form.

Our City Campus offers modern meeting rooms catering for a wide-range of events, conferences, meetings and conventions.

Consultation rooms

Our two consulting rooms can seat 4 people and are ideal for one-on-one learning sessions or interviews. Each room contains complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Boardroom

Our 20 seat boardroom is ideal for large meetings and conferences. It contains top of the range audio visual (AV) equipment including:

data projector
whiteboard
LCD TV screens
video conference facilities
Wi-Fi.

We have been an accredited Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace since 2010. Our rooms equipped with:

a refrigerator
a sink
table and chair or a bed.

This is to meet the needs of student and staff mothers continuing their work or study while breastfeeding at the City Campus.

Many women return to full-time or part-time work or study after having children. Many of these children continue to be breastfed while their mothers work or study. We support and value the importance of having the time and space to provide food for your babies, whether by expressing milk or breastfeeding.
