Keeping you informed

Future student liaison staff at all La Trobe University campuses are committed to providing support and information to careers advisers across Victoria. We aim to keep you informed about course and University developments as they happen to ensure that you have the information you need to help your students make informed choices about where and what to study. We do this in a number of ways.

Campus tours

Schools are welcome to visit campuses. We offer campus tours which involve a presentation by our staff to the students in a lecture theatre, followed by a guided tour of the facilities, including the library, sports and recreation facilities, and the main academic areas. Please contact us for further information.

Information days

La Trobe hosts a number of major information days for prospective students, including the ever-popular Talk and Tour and Experience La Trobe days. Some of our events offer students and their families the opportunity to gain a general overview of what La Trobe has to offer - other events enable students to get a real "taste" of being a university student by attending specific workshops tailored to their study and career interests.

  • Where possible we can provide a current La Trobe student to talk about what the university experience is really like, and to give a student perspective on issues such as course selection and transition
  • We are happy to talk to students about specific courses and areas of study (e.g. Health Sciences, Computer Science, Archaeology, Media Studies, Law, etc)
