A-W Open Day & Sustainability Fair

La Trobe’s Albury-Wodonga campus will be opening its doors to prospective students and their families on Sunday, August 23 for its annual Open Day. 

AW Open Day A wide range of activities and course introduction sessions will introduce visitors to the campus and its courses. Staff and current students will be available on campus from 10am to 2pm to answer questions about courses, support services, scholarships and campus facilities.

The campus offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in key study areas. Recent developments have also resulted in new course and curriculum options in Business and Health Sciences.

“The lower costs of living and studying in regional areas, coupled with high quality teaching, personalised attention and flexible study options, are major factors attracting students to consider studying at La Trobe University’s regional campuses,” stated Leo Whyte, Future Students Adviser at the Albury-Wodonga campus. “The University also has many scholarships to support commencing students, including those targeting regional students in particular.”

2009 Wodonga Sustainablity Fair

The second annual Wodonga Sustainability Fair, co-hosted by La Trobe University and Wodonga TAFE, will be held on Sunday 23 August from 10 am-3 pm, in conjunction with Open Days at both institutions.
The focus of the Fair will again be on sustainable living and the related practices that preserve resources and reduce negative impact on the environment.

As well as free entry and BBQ, and activities for children, a wide range of exhibitors will display products and services related to sustainable living.
Close to 30 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation, covering such areas as sustainable gardening, solar heating and hybrid cars.
Children can have fun with art and model-making activities and games with the giant earthball.
