Register and enrol

Registration

As soon as possible after your arrival, we ask you to visit La Trobe International to fill out a simple registration form. You must also bring in your passport and student visa (a printout is fine if you have been issued an E-visa). 

At LTI we will will provide you with useful on-arrival information about the Welcome Festival, your enrolment details and information relevant to newly arrived students. Download a Campus Map to make finding us easier.

Enrolment

Enrolment - when you formally register in your course - takes place during the orientation period. The process generally includes a Faculty-based information session followed by discussions with course advisors, subject selection and enrolment into subjects.

After you have completed your enrolment your La Trobe Card (student identification card) is created.

The La Trobe Card is a smartcard i.e. you can store data on it, borrow from the library, pay for photocopying, or purchase a parking ticket.

To learn how to construct your personal study timetable - a plan of when and where your classes will take place - See page 22 in the Enrolment Guide, or get help from the Timetable Helper during the Welcome Festival. You can view the online Current Timetable, but note that it is updated on a regular basis.
