Accepting Your Offer

Pre-departure Information and Confirmation of Enrolment

When we receive your acceptance we'll send you a package including your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE) - which you can use to arrange your student visa - and a copy of our Pre-Departure Guide which will assist you in your preparations for travelling to Australia and arriving at La Trobe. How to Accept Your Offer

If you have received a letter of offer and wish to accept it, please send the following to the relevant La Trobe International Office:

  1. Completed Offer Acceptance Form (PDF 303KB).
  2. Payment for the required deposit as set out in your letter of offer - refer to Offer Acceptance Form 2 for methods of payment (if you prefer to pay visa-length overseas health cover you will need to adjust the amount accordingly).
  3. A copy of a Pre-Visa Assessment (only for students from country assessment levels 3 and 4).
  4. Certified evidence of meeting the conditions specified in your offer (if applicable).
  5. A copy of your visa, if you are a temporary resident of Australia.

Important:

Sponsored Students

Sponsored students are students who will be receiving financial assistance from a government, organisation or company (not from private individuals or relatives) to undertake studies at La Trobe University. If you are a sponsored student, please remember to attach a letter of guarantee from an authorised person within the sponsoring organisation on the sponsoring organisation's letterhead. For further information, please email the Sponsored Programs Coordinator.

If you have received an offer to study at La Trobe University and think you may require support, it is important to contact the staff at the Equity and Access Unit before you accept your offer to study at La Trobe. This will enable the EAU to determine your eligibility for services.
